Do you mind me asking which site you used for it ?
https://vocalremover.org/
Although I used the paid version available to patreons.
Thatâs a simplistic point of view of it. Having used it just for basic necessities it has helped be better at academic writing and do only use it for basic research and then go indepth through the university search system to get to the journal articles.
As someone who is developing a custom AI for searching all documents in my one drive, it can really be be manipulated to ensure results are catered for topics that have been assigned and nothing else.
Yes as with any new technology there is concern at how data and AI can be manipulated and the jobs that are already being lost.
I donât have a problem with the image creation of it as sometimes you can just generate some random shit that just makes me laugh
Metas image generator in itâs ai tool is concerning because it actually uses real people faces from around the world and logos to combine itâs image that was instructed by the user.
I stand by my comment
Wow and not have an intelligent discussion? Anything you say in regards to an any issue will be just ignored from me and wonât be considered for a serious reply. Good luck with that mentality.
AI has some incredible potential, but it also comes with broad and incredible danger.
AI-generated media (music, videos, images) have to be trained on something and thatâs often material that people have spent a great amount of time, effort, and skill to produce - for what end? So someone can go to an AI platform and say, âGive me a song about a train carrying bananas that sounds like The Beatlesâ?
AI platforms have very little interest in honouring intellectual property rights, something that should be concerning with its increasing use in creative fields - not to mention it encourages low-effort and low-value content.
exactly
my problem with AI is that when you use it, originality and effort is slowly being thrown out the window, and credit is not given to the people who made the material that AI has trained with.
and in a broader perspective, itâs going to make a generation of people who are dependable on the platforms, and not having any real skill that they can use - theyâll feel itâs easier to just get ChatGPT to write the code, or to generate the image, than to do it themselves.
Needs the audio ducking to be undone but the refreshed ABC News theme:
And if anyone was curious; Talissa Siganto reading the headlines.
not exactly a media mock butâŚ
My Church is looking at moving into this building for our services and i used ChatGPT to paint the outside and i was gagged by how realistic it looked. I just know graphic designers are shaking right now.
The more i look at it the worse it looks tbh. I tried to get it to put the logo on the tin at the front of the building but it painted the entire front of the building instead so i guess some jobs might be safe!
Itâs fantastic for home renovation ideas/inspiration. Usually it does everything to scale and itâs a great starting point.
If CBS wanted to make the Morning News look more like the Evening News:
meanwhile, if NBC revied their old morning shows in the style of their evening program;
I know itâs a bit contentious on here with the use of AI, however, after some of the discussion recently about the Today show set being the weakest part of its look, I experimented with a few different set designs for both the soft set which looks odd with the pillar and the home base.
I also mocked what a studio in the Sydney newsroom could look like.
That WWOS desk doesnât even die in AI world ![]()
thanks to Google GeminiâŚ. imagine if, in Tassie, Southern Cross had leaned into the 10 affiliation in the late 90s rather than 7?
AI is getting so scarily clever and smarter that it was enough to resemble an actual VHS recording there. Human creativity doomed in the not-too-distant future?
If that had have been the case, fast forward to the 2020s and Tassie wouldâve had Prime instead as the Seven affiliate, with playout from TBS MediaCloud. It wouldâve been exactly like the mainland 3-agg market Southern Cross stations that did have the 10 affiliate.
Tbh that was two VHS quality images I mashed together myself, the AI wasnât playing along with that one.
