Ugh ur seeing whats happened to my show, how does puddle of mudds “Control” have issues, theres nothing offensive in the censored version?

Agree, very mild domestic violence connotations at worst.

If that!

Look forward to listening, it looks like s great playlist. Love you still play a couple of 60s tracks.

You’ll now hear the latter half of the 60s on the Missing Six as well as the 70s. 60s at other times will be confined to the SMOKIN’ OLDIE segment.

The late 60s tend to have the better tracks. Not always but in the main it was better.

Given the recent conversations about Star 104.5 on the Central Coast of NSW being more CHR based in recent times, especially with 80s music being dropped from their playlist over a week ago, I thought it would be interesting to compare it with Hit 101.3 and see how similar they are.

Lava didn’t record the log for Hit 101.3 itself during the following time period, so I sourced it from Hit 106.9, which is largely the same anyway.

They are both good playlists for regional markets. Some great songs in there on both stations.

Thanks - I’d definitely listen to that

It’s a great listen I’ve been listening since they kicked off around 10 years ago.

Just noticed these Red Rock Crostini.

Thanks for that. It’s not exactly “Playing the Freshest” since they’re playing tracks all the way back to the 70s. It’s probably what Triple M should sound like if it was stuck mainly playing throwbacks.

The Breeze just constantly delivers amazing variety in their playlist. The Rebel also.

On this day 1 year ago, Channel X was launched onto the former Today FM frequencies across New Zealand, with a mixture of music from the 90s to the mid-2010s. It remains possibly my favourite NZ station out there, with its minimal advertising (still) outside of local ads and DJ-free music. To celebrate, here’s what played in a typical hour (this is becoming a bi-annual tradition for me here lol) one year after launch. Happy anniversary Channel X!

This will sound silly I kept forgetting to tune in. Next week I will record. I can’t see your show on the website yet. Like @dxnerd its a bit past my bedtime :grinning:

No worries, we’re looking into some audio on demand model, just trying to work around the technologies and copyrights, wanting to do everything right before we jump into anything. Looking at a mixcloud profile at this stage, as I believe they already have their copyrights covered.

Yes they do. Mixcloud give you limit on how many shows you can upload unless you pay. Paul on powerzone has a big collection. You can now listen to inphase on the SWR website which is great. As well @dxnerd, show you can listen on demand at Braidwood FM (amongst over shows).

I see it is a now an important part of radio, not everyone can listen when its live these days, having catch up to me is just as important as TV catch up for specialised radio shows esp on community radio and talk back radio (or popular breakfast shows). Of course best to hear it live but catch up is the next best thing.
