I haven’t taken much notice TBH!
At the moment it is showing:
A screen grab from last week
RDS is also on 95.5 Bundaberg. Don’t know about any others.

Most of the Auckland and Whangerei stations have RDS. RDS is less common on the South Island but I’ve noticed quite a few stations running it on this trip. Here in Cromwell, Brian FM (105.5) do full song title and artist, and there’s even scrolling RDS on one of the local LPFM stations (107.0 FM).
Glad you were able to get 4US RDS, i was involved in getting it enabled and to come into the 21st Century. It is just been generated by the BE TX internally
99.9 Rockhampton has RDS aswell
Upcoming Races and local frequencies
RDS is on Beaudesert, Bundaberg, Gladstone and Rockhampton.
Mix FM and Sea FM still haven’t fixed their temp readouts on RDS
How it should look
No problems with traffic report
That’s the closest that Noosa will get to a white Christmas.
Difference in RDS between metro and regional for cricket:
Brisbane
Fraser Coast
Both 2EC and Power FM from Batemans Bay now have RDS, including web addresses in the text info field. We couldn’t receive 102.5 Bega strong enough to tell if it has RDS or not. There’s also 105.5 2EC at Eden to check.

Keep up to date by typing that series of random characters into your browser? Directing people to bom.gov.au would be wiser. Whoever is doing the RDS there needs to stop and think a little.
Can’t seem to find the Å key.
That would be my code and is automated…That information comes from Twitter which have updated the way they send out tweets.
The new version of radio datacast (for windows this time) will be out before March and is a lot more civilised
and the URL is valid by the way… the control Å of course isnt
Hit seems to have really worked hard on their 2DAY FM RDS. It is very good compared to the rest. They have the song currently playing, weather, name of station and “On Air” which states exactly who is presenting on air right now. I find that incredibly handy. It is current and up to date too. Great job! Love it!
Salt 1065 Sunshine Coast appear to be running RDS NOW
Someone some time ago commenced the Google Sheets page titled ‘Australian RDS list’ - thank you. Recently I’ve been updating the list from a combination of recent contributions on the list & my own observations.
I’ve also added PI codes & a field for when an entry was last updated (so we know how old a contribution was) & I’ve performed some major tidying-up/formatting. Given the recent spurt in growth of Aussie FM stations now using RDS it would be great if others can continue to add their own information (additions/changes & deletions where appropriate) to the sheets.
The list needs the addition of SA, NT & WA entries & more Tassie stations.
There’s another webpage on the links header along with the Google Sheets page, but it hasn’t been updated in 12 months.
I think it would be great to have this shared Google Sheets page as the our main source of RDS info.
To the creator of the ‘Australian RDS list’ can you make a small change to the title; change to:
Australia RDS List (capital L in List).
For the record, in the inland city of Wagga Wagga, NSW - NONE of the FM transmitters in use are using RDS.
That’s surprising… I would have thought HIT 93.1 would have been running RDS.
That’ll be me!
Thanks for making those changes, once I get back to Melbourne next week I’ll work on how best to format that data now that there’s so many more entries to be made into it. Will keep you all posted in this thread
