Passengers on an aircraft who
talk instead of watching the flight attendants doing the safety demonstration before takeoff , I’m sure it annoys them too .No matter how many flights you’ve been on you should always watch .In an emergency situation I’d probably panic first
then I’ll be glad that I did pay attention to them.
People that stand up the second the plane lands. Be patient, folks!
Drivers that dont use their indicators.
That’s one of mine too ,wait until the aircraft has stopped at the gate first👎
It’s more likely passengers on budget airlines will have these annoying habits .
And anyone who reclines their seat before checking first that the person behind isn’t leaning forward to get something out of their bag ,or wanting to have their tray table down .
Parents who allow their little kids to kick the seat in front of them👎
I don’t know how I’d manage without my Bluetooth headphones on public transport or planes.I’d be even more p***ed off by my fellow passengers. And I don’t listen to music on my headphones while the flight attendants are doing the safety demonstration,I do pay attention
Not about getting off the plane quickly me…it’s because I’m tall and my legs are usually cramped af
Neighbours who steal parcels or packages from fellow neighbours.Yesterday a box of prepared meals I have delivered once a week was stolen from outside my front door as I wasn’t home,![]()
I was volunteering at the RSPCA.
From now on I’ll have them left with another neighbour who I do trust and delivered to her unit instead.
So many a*hole neighbours here who spend all day at home doing fk all except drinking booze or taking drugs.
I worked damn hard for almost 40 years, even though I’m now retired I would still rather do my volunteer work for 4 days a week instead of staying home all the time.
I used to get food delivered by You Foodz and I gave explicit instructions to buzz my unit when they deliver however they never did and I complained to them several times and they never buzzed my unit. In the end I just stopped using their service and started cooking my own food. Woolworths has never once not buzzed when delivering my orders which I make every week. They even climb the stairs up to my second level apartment every time, not even Door Dash or Uber Eats manage that. If they can’t be bothered delivering the order to the correct address then they get a 1 star rating.
I hope you got a refund and the order delivered again.
Constantly seeing it here in the city. It really does get under my skin. What is so important that you have look at your phone while walking? I usually step to one side if there’s room but there have times
I have said look up there’s a bird in the sky.
I also have to becareful where I walk too because when they come around the corner they come around so fast whiledt looking at their phone I have barely any room to react and we just miss eachkrher thojfg by a fabric of our clothing.
I can’t remember how Sydney was but I know Perth and Melbourne have this problem.
That’s just fucking horrible. I admit this is why. I don’t trust my neighbours and have stopped talking to
Them. Caught my neighbour going through my
Mail and taking my bank card (it was a new one that sent to me). Joke was on him though it wasn’t activated.
His wife keeps trying to talk to me but I ignore her and him knowing full well they do it to other people.
She keeps
Asking “if I have time for
Chicken soup?”.
CCTV is wonderful.
Personally that never bothers me. I figure if they fall and chip their tooth and blatantly ignore instructions that is their own fault.
Well maybe you are better suited paying for extra seating in first class or the emergency row seat with the extra leg room.
Don’t whinge if there is a possible solution to your “tall and my legs ache” problem on a plane.
Oh wow… rough response.
I don’t see where OnAir is whinging? He was just offering an alternative suggestion as to why people stand up.
if the “solution” is paying hundreds/thousands extra for Business/First Class, then it’s not a solution. And emergency row seats are also limited. Even as someone who definitely does not have long legs, I can understand that people that do would find airline seats uncomfortable. If they want to stand, good for them. I think the issue is more the ones that not only stand but also instantly grab their carry on luggage and crowd towards the front of the plane as if it’s going to magically make the doors open any quicker.
But the comment was hardly a whinge, though.
Just wow.
No one was whinging here, it’s simply an explanation of why some people do need to stand up fairly quickly after a plane lands.
As someone with back issues myself, I can totally understand the need to stand and stretch my legs after several hours on a flight. A little bit of understanding goes a long way and people that fail to recognise that others may be less abled than themselves is one of my big pet peeves.
I’m not sure I was whinging. Just saying that it’s not always everyone racing to get off the plane.
A lot of the travel I do, I don’t get a say in where I sit.
Last year I took 40 flights and also suffered a knee injury earlier in the year. Just saying when the flight lands - especially if it’s a long one - and I am allowed to remove my seatbelt, I quite like moving my legs around.
No Business class on a Q400 Dash 8!
Cant you just do your job on Zoom? ![]()
For work I assume ? Fair enough .
Wow.
May I suggest you read this: Member Behaviour
Honestly I’m saddened more than anything else by the lack of empathy in your response.
The world is already a hard enough place when you have a disability and/or serious health conditions, and coming across attitudes like this only makes things even more challenging.
It’s hard to feel sorry for someone whom I don’t know on an internet forum.
I have mental health conditions but I don’t go around bragging and complaining how hard it is. When as you say they are plenty of other things going in theworld that demands more attention.
It’s the internet dude , not real life.
I believe in treating people online with the same respect I would in person (I’ll be the first to admit I don’t get it right 100% of the time and I can get drawn into things I later regret but I do try and make an effort), please be conscious there are real people behind the usernames and they have their own life experiences and challenges.
