beIN signed a deal last year to retain the Serie A rights until 2024:
I know that but I think they still have select matches in 4k? Donât they?
I think Sky do a few, but maybe only for their coverage.
i know in my case, i just buy the yearly pass. i think last year i got it for $99, but even at $199 its a good deal to be honest, especilly when you realise what they charge for sky in the UK
But how much else does Sky have?

Optus Sport is proud to announce that it has bolstered its football offering by securing the Australian media rights to broadcast UEFA EURO 2024.
This announcement adds to an already stacked calendar on Optus Sport, with over 100 internationals currently being broadcast over 14 days before attention soon turns to the UEFA Womenâs EURO 2022 in July, and the return of the 2022/23 Premier League and Barclays FA Womenâs Super League seasons.
Premier League announced the 2022/23 fixture on Thursday.

Optus Sport secures exclusive rights for LaLiga
Optus Sport has reinforced its commitment to streaming the worldâs best football by securing the exclusive Australian rights for one of the biggest football leagues in the world, Spainâs LaLiga.
The multi-year deal to stream LaLiga Santander gives Optus Sport an additional 380 matches per season from LaLiga live and on-demand, in full 1080p HD* and will also include live select matches from LaLiga SmartBank, Spanish footballâs second tier, including promotion playoffs and a range of other highlights, news and review programmes.
Optus Sport subscribers will now be able to watch even more of the biggest clubs in football and with the addition of the top 20 Spanish teams, Optus Sport welcomes the likes of Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Atletico de Madrid, Sevilla FC and many more as they join the leading English Premier League clubs, all in one place.
Ok this justifies the price increase a little.
true, but keep in mind the price doesnât rise until august 1 so you can still get a year for $139 until than and with both EPL and LaLiga it is pretty attractive for that price
edit: if they got the serie a or Bundesliga rights it would be an absolute steal at $199
Itâs worth it now especially with two leagues I follow most. I like Chelsea (menâs and womenâs) in England plus Real Madrid every week.
Optus Sportâs live and exclusive coverage of Womenâs Euro 2022 starts Thursday morning AEST, with hosts England taking on Austria at Old Trafford in Manchester.
UPDATE 25/7: Optus Sport announced today it would broadcast this weekâs Womenâs Euro 2022 semi-finals and final for free.
Broadcast times for Optus Sportâs live coverage of the opening round of 2022-23 Premier League season
Optus has inserted dedicated LaLiga and Premier league channels to their app Optus Sport 11 & 12 for what its worth. I am thinking they are either in test mode or the live bug is incorrectly inserted.
I also wonder if Optus Sport 2 is being removed off Fetch
Edit actually I think it might be a live feed of La Liga TV but the game itsetself is not live
This would be the feed of programming previous rights holder Be-In Sports showed content from across their channels. Itâs similar to the club channels Foxtel previously carried, expect for the whole league.
The new set for the EPL host coverage is awesome.
Itâs AR. Very cool.
