Me too. Especially love the very start of that song, the first few piano notes.
âSpending My Time â is another great song from themđ

That song is guaranteed to play at least once when theyâre not taking the generic regional log.
Yeah it is like sometimes with the old 90s and 2000s club classics you would swear they are turning in a dance station then the mundane songs return

remember from the Derulo duet with Meghan Trainor that she had to be autotuned to make him seem less shit for needing autotune.
Thatâs cringeworthy.
Itâs a long way from the quality of Ian Mossâ Tuckerâs daughter.

4BH played a early 00âs crappy song I never liked much,
Train, âDrops of Jupiter â
Tests well with suburban radio listening females, probably why 4BH think they can get away with it.
Instant station changer for me too.

Even worse, the same station played that song at roughly the same time the previous Wednesday (just before 6:00pm).
I doubt WIN would have much quality control on their music programming and scheduling.
It sounds different but not in a good 2001 Nova way.

plunderphonicsâ was probably the last true innovative genre (The Avalanches, Fatboy Slim etc.)
Love them.
Slightly different genre but interesting was Basement Jaxx. More commercial, but memorable lines even in music videos âIâm in the armpit of nowhereâ.
The early noughties were a time when urban and edgy music dominated the airwaves; who could forget âWhatâs Your Flava?â by Craig David and âWhatâs Luv?â by Fat Joe/Ashanti?
The latter is an instant station changer for me. Donât mind Craig David.

who could forget âWhatâs Your Flava?â by Craig David and âWhatâs Luv?â by Fat Joe/Ashanti?
I could⌠I donât even remember those!
I think that said Craig David song marked a change in his musical direction, moving away from the R&B/garage style which proved successful on his debut album âBorn to Do Itâ.
Speaking of which⌠who could also forget this infamous moment on the British version of âWho Wants to Be a Millionaireâ?

(A bit off topic) Too be fair, he didnât seem to know a lot about anything

he didnât seem to know a lot about anything
He certainiy knew how to cheat!
Anyone sick of hearing âI Wanna Dance with Somebodyâ by Whitney Houston on Triple M Regionals (and to a lesser extent 2Day FM and TheFox)? I know I am!
It does get played a lot, but still much better than a lot of other overplayed songs they air.

Gets played a lot everywhere, but I still love it. Guilty
Last Thursday, when I walked around Officeworks they played Pumped up Kicks from Foster the People. This song has been flogged on the radio for many years now.
Billy Joel ,âUptown Girl â
He has so many more songs to choose from
Even on âAn Innocent Manâ album there are some great tracks that could get airplay more often.
Piano Man is another song of his that gets flogged by radio, I still like this one though.
Over on Nova 93.7 they played that Macklemore song, Thrift Shop. It has been flogged on the radio during thr mid 2010s. I was not a fan of this song. This song just made me turn off.
