My favourite from Roxette, would have to be Fading Like a Flower. I absolutely love that song.

Even worse, the same station played that song at roughly the same time the previous Wednesday (just before 6:00pm).

I doubt WIN would have much quality control on their music programming and scheduling.

It sounds different but not in a good 2001 Nova way.

Love them.

Slightly different genre but interesting was Basement Jaxx. More commercial, but memorable lines even in music videos “I’m in the armpit of nowhere”.

The latter is an instant station changer for me. Don’t mind Craig David.

I think that said Craig David song marked a change in his musical direction, moving away from the R&B/garage style which proved successful on his debut album “Born to Do It”.

Over on Nova 93.7 they played that Macklemore song, Thrift Shop. It has been flogged on the radio during thr mid 2010s. I was not a fan of this song. This song just made me turn off.
