I’m sure the ABC was there in the first year but not since. Personally I don’t see an issue with them sending a few commentators over, it is a significant event and sport in Australia.
Yet they allow this:

Gibbs and Lewis will stay around for Bulldogs v Dragons, with Brett Sprigg calling play by play.

I find it interesting that Anthoy Maroon does a lot of games for MMM is it because Dan Ginnane does more Fox games?

There’s a few mis-prints in there by the looks of things.
Dan Ginnane will do the Sunday afternoon game.
