So today the first song is announced as âFriday Feels, a Nova Throwback, Lady Ga Ga Born This Wayâ. Very confusing. It was back announced as a Throwback too.

How come?
I Figured because Aaron Rich (Fox Afternoons) posted a video on his Instagram Story on Saturday Night (obviously going out) with Joel Gelding (KIIS FM Melbourne) and Greg Burns. Featured in the video was Aaron exclaiming how he is is #1 for his his time slot and was rubbing it in on Joel and Greg only to Greg Burnsâ reaction being âBut are you national!â, being national is not really something to brag about Burnsy with Workday Announcing slots being traditionally local and also how the Network Aaron works for (Hit) beats Greg in his timeslot in every city except Brisbane!
Sounds just like a bit of fun banter between mates.
Most people - even the announcing staff apparently - arenât as⌠parochial as some on hereâŚ
As for Greg, it must be a lonely building after 9amâŚ

Fitzy, Wippa and Sarah were discussing the Eurovision Song Contest this morning and some of the bizarre.
They played and discussed the strange song entry from Israel and pondered on whether Nova would play that. Fitzy replied that if Bruno Mars sang it, Nova would. If it was a Bruno Mars song, Nova would play it every one and half hours.

At breakfast, Fitzy and Wippa said they were there at 9pm to midnight and Kate was a guest. She said sheâd be back in the morning for Kate, Tim and Marty.

Fitzy and Wippa just mentioned that they are in the Magic studios and will be appearing on Ronan Keatingâs breakfast radio show Ronan & Harriet.
