How does it cut costs? No one is leaving? They’re just switching the shows around and Joel moving to Perth.
Salaries would be adjusted down for F&W&KR to do drive. Perhaps she would also leave eventually and it would return to a two-hander.

If the rumours are true, then Nova are really stupid. Rikki-Lee, Tim and Joel are consistently number one in Drive so they would be mad to dump them for a team that has never been number one at Breakfast in Sydney.

Breakfast has a higher impact on the overall 10+ share numbers compared to Drive. So while on the surface it may seem stupid, from a strategy point of view it’s actually quite smart.

So is Joel staying permanently on 937 Breakfast? I can’t see him going from national drive to the workday shift in one of their smallest markets..
Have we ever seen a Drive show successfully pivot into a cap-city Breakfast shift before??
