I think also think about it in the context of the clues getting more obvious as time progresses.
One of the first clues was “within 25km of a spec savers” which is broad…. Whereas one of the last was about “when it comes to this game, west is not best” (ie, knocking out half of Melbourne). Sleeping with the enemy would have made it more specific again
At the original Nonna-focused restaurant, which is a Netflix movie now, they do now have Japanese nonnas making food….
And hey, ChatGPT kept telling us to think caravan park related but we kept saying no to it haha
Providing cryptic clues does not mean you are led down endless paths. You led yourself there.
They can’t make it that easy that you can solve it on a couple of clues or on the first day. I’d say they’re probably spewing that they were discovered so soon and the competition is over.
My issue is that a lot of the clue explanations don’t add up or link to the loation at all. Last year they mostly made sense when they were explained. This year, most felt unrelated to the location or felt like intentional diversions.
“Hold back the river” referring to Albert Park LAKE and “The bont” referring to a dog park 6 mins away are just a couple examples. There are plenty more in the article below. Daily Mail on it to it.
I’ll add further to the conspiracy. Jase & Lauren just shared the Instagram story of former Love Island / I’m a Celeb contestant Erin Alysha. She posted a screenshot of the location which she took on Friday morning, saying she suspected it was there but didn’t go. It’s like after the backlash, they are trying to convince us that it was possible at that point. So it was just coincidentally discovered by a Love Island contestant on Friday and then found by a Survivor contestant on Sunday? It all seems a bit fishy
Really, Daily Mail? So you’re telling me in the T&C’s that if you are a former reality TV star that you are ineligible to win any further competitions for life?
The bloke is a regular Australian citizen at the end of the day. Who cares if he wins Hide & Seek, or a chook raffle at the local bowlo!?
Interesting to see that Ben, Liam and Belle are going to do the 4pm to 6pm drive shift for two weeks while RTJ are on survey break. I do wonder if this is a trial run for next year with RTJ moving to Sydney breakfast…
I think they go nationally on survey breaks and sound great together. Super strong B team that is quite fresh and broadly likeable. Nova has really strong talent at the moment
That’s the good thing about Nova. Through deleloping shows like Ben, Liam & Belle and Mel & Matt they do have some options now that change needs to occur in Sydney
The talent is not the problem it is just the Throwbacks that they have been playing on repeat for the past five years are very stale and an instant channel changer. I just hope 2day fm can gain some traction and force Nova to skew slightly younger.
Disagree. I love Nova’s back catalog playlist. It’s their fresh music mix letting them down for me. Enough with Chappel Roan, Sabrina Carpenter and Alex Warren already!
