WIN had changed its watermark!
Have they updated their PRG yet?
Yes the PRG is the WIN logo is a primary colour fading to the watermark - no program name - CC at the start of program.
I never see WIN show there logo in green like 9 does. c’mon WIN green it up for once.
Would’ve thought they updated the PRG.
The PRG logo also just fades in instead of “bubbling” in, for lack of a better term, lol.
I think you’ll find that’s a Nine promo because NBN are running the same one.
WIN’s new multi-channel PRG. Sorry for the quality, recording equipment is packed away at the moment.
It was only time before they brought back that kind of crap
So Mappy has ceased to exist as a watermark and has since become a solid blue multichannel pop-up.
Is that a 2006 era strap/font combination?
Glad to see that we are on WIN Digital! Does that mean WIN analogue is still running? One could be mistaken is still is given the video quality of the WIN SD channels, being the worst in the country by a mile! Even Youtube has better technical quality than the spew WIN transmits technical wise thsesdays! The sooner NINE buys WIN or affiliates with SCA the better!
Yep, I’m pretty sure that the near-VHS level picture quality of WIN’s SD channels is quite possibly the worst of any network in the country. And 9Gem HD via WIN isn’t exactly a stunning visual experience either, so I’m lead to believe.
As far as I can remember, WIN has never used pop-ups or PRG “add-ons” like this before. I’d rather this shows up for ~5 seconds during the PRG than having a solid shit stain throughout the entire program.
Almost, but there’s no sliding boxes. Edges have a glow animation too.
WIN’s picture quality aboslutely stinks and I do agree, but this new PRG pop-up says “You’re on WIN Network”, for the record.
Same.
I’m not sure if they still do it after the branding change (probably not), but the old PRG animations on GO! and GEM via NBN were great. They got your attention, but didn’t distract you for the whole show!
What WIN digital? The picture says WIN Network.
They were great and very well designed. I always wanted WIN to take a leaf out of NBN’s book with that one.
I am actually surprised a watermark isn’t the preferred method. I’m not complaining, the less obstruction to the picture the better, but it is interesting WIN has done a 180 and now has less exposure of their own brand. I suppose Go! has been like this for a while.
