No just Gem on 82, WIN 8 GO 88. Yesterday Foxtel did not seem too fussed about the missing channels so its a start I guess.

Yes, the 16:9 image is still squeezed into a 4:3 frame on a 16:9 transmission and with no watermark.
tried that didn’t make any difference still shows 2 gems logos

Thanks for the message. It should be very very helpful for my dad. My dad was absolute,y FURIOUS yesterday. He was definitely not a happy man yesterday from Ayr near Townsville.

No problem many ppl complaining on Foxtel forums, It seems its the only way they will do anything.
Tonight I shake my head in disbelief. I had to manually turn on subtitles for both win HD and gem for the 2nd day in row. Plus a current affair look like this on my tv tonight.
No wonder country people are angry,
At one stage I saw a black screen on GEM. I hope they fix it soon.
@lexington Any idea why Gem is in 4:3? What would cause this and stump WIN for a 2nd day now?

It’s very strange. Surely it would just be a setting on their systems - maybe they should try a reboot lol

I had an angry father complaining to me about not being able to pick up the win channels from his Foxtel box.
Thanks to the forum for info on Foxtel I’ve passed it on to my dad. Hopefully that will calm him down. He lives in Ayr in Queensland and he’s not a happy man yesterday
Noting ten network introduction of ten HD doing on fairly well today I just cannot understand why it wasn’t as seamlessly at WIN.
least its not on wins main channel imagne be a more complaints 
least they cant yet manage to cover up the large 9 ident when they have 9 news updates they don’t even bother covering up 9 ident either

Just as well the court has not yet made a decision on 9 now. they can still see a current affair in widescreen mode from 9now.
They have fixed the subtitle so win HD on channel 80 automatically has subtitles on, but GEM on 82 still remains the same in 4:3 aspect ratio. That’s the current situation as it stands on WIN.

I don’t get why you think subtitles should automatically come on. Are you too lazy to push the button on your remote like everyone else?

Our LG has a button called “subtitles” on the remote and you have to press that and then the down button and “on” and it keeps it on , on all channels until it is turned off.
However with the WINHD channel that functionality didn’t seem to work and only pressing the Text button and the numbers 801 seemed to activate it.
