9Life on WIN appears to be a dirty feed from Nine, with local commercials inserted on top. During one commercial break, there was a few seconds of Sydney ads before the Illawarra ads kicked in.
I remember that used to happen on GO! when we lived in Perth. A few secs of ads from somewhere else and then it would go to local ads.
Was just watching Gem in Tassie before and they had advertisements for a Victorian region lol and it’s 4:3 obviously some minor technical hitches along the way.
Wonder what caused that issue and how long it will take to fix. It seems like a very squished up 4:3 too.
At least WIN are aware of the problem they said they are working on it via a twitter comment.
What the?!? What is the point of them doing that?

Exactly. I don’t see WIN being bothered to put their own weather info in, so it’s just a pointless waste of time hiding it.

WIN Illawarra HD seem to be having problems with the watermarks because right now it’s watermark and logo bug free…
Update 5:32pm: Fixed up now.
also win HD is now on Foxtel regional
Interestingly, the WIN HD watermark has returned.

Not in Tassie either but I’m using IQ3. Rescanned local channels but nothing came up. WIN on 100 and Gem on 209
Same in NBN areas. Iq3 and MySuck2.0HD

WIN, 9Life and GEM were all restored late on 01/03/2016. We’re waiting on confirmation of WIN HD as we continue to look into its stability on our platform. We will keep you updated.

Make sure you have rebooted your set top unit. If the channel(s) are still missing, please re-scan your Free-to-air channels on your set top unit.
I’m now getting a duplication of the GEM Logo on my set top unit
This was caused by the changes by the channel and was corrected late on 01/03/2016. To fix this, customers with a MyStar or iQ3 needed to reboot (press and hold the ‘Standby’ button on the iQ3 for 10 seconds, then let go) and/or re-scan terrestrial services (depending on the region and box type).
Is the 4:3 aspect ratio still on WIN GEM?
