I wonder if that will be the production studio on the ground level at North Sydney? Or somewhere else?

Makes sense at the moment with the whole covid situation. Eventually wouldn’t be surprised to see them go to the grounds. Most sports aren’t sending people to the ground except the boundary reporter.

They said there’s going to be some new camera angles and technology but it’s hard to redesign the wheel so wouldn’t expect a major difference.

Isn’t their a WWOS set? Or will that be used for NRL!

Other than in Melbourne, no, there is not a dedicated Sports set, but they used to use a section of the old multi-purpose set as a NRL set. I’d expect this set though to be Rugby mostly, but potentially used when there is no Rugby on for other sports. There will be a set that will be primarily used for NRL I’d presume.

Stan Sport have announced a studio show on Tuesday 8pm hosted by Roz Kelly. Will be interesting to see what other shoulder program they launch on Stan Sport throughout the week

No surprise that Stan has acquired the rights to Japan’s Top League rugby because so many Aussies are playing in the competition. It’s possible that it could show rugby union competitions in Europe down the track, should they become available.

They Could just become the Optus sport of rugby? There are a lot of top rugby competitions around the world that they could get rights to.

There were talk about Optus getting the rugby rights, it fell through apparently.

Optus is focusing on Football as a result of them not getting the Rugby rights. They were the front runners last year
