Both tests this Saturday will be shown live on 9Gem in Adelaide and Perth.
Virtual advertising was used on the world feed of Australia v Wales last night.

World feed
(Castell Howell is an independent food wholesaler, based in Llanelli in Wales)
For the SA game it was Matthew Pearce, Hanyani Shimange and Schalk Burger in commentary, while for the NZ game it was Grant Nisbett, Mils Muliaina and Jeff Wilson commentating. My guess this is who Stan will use for the non-Aussie games this year. Just sub in Paul Stubbs for Pearce on occasion.
Well yes, they take the host broadcast feed.
Would Cadbury been on the boards at the stadium?
Yes.
9Gem will be airing the (Sydney) Shute Shield every Saturday at 3pm as from tomorrow, until the remainder of the current season. Tomorrow’s match is the round 14 match between Warringah and Eastwood.
I don’t know why the don’t start from Round 1. Can someone correct me - but is it because they can’t air this and the Super Rugby tournament at the same time?
No contractual reason, just they only have so much in terms of talent and broadcast slots.
Fair enough. That makes sense. Ta.
Who Remembers When Seven/Ten Had The Rights To Rugby Union?
Correct. For non-Aussie games they do that. Fox would do it too for Tri Nations/S12/14/Super Rugby, but sometimes for SA v. NZ they’d use the Sky commentary from NZ.
Coverage included a few segments promoting Stan coverage and a small excerpt from the NZ v England game on Sky.
Look-live or a real cross?
It was a replay AFAIK.
Nine Brisbane showing a delayed telecast of the Reds V Wales game from Suncorp tonight.
Was kind of surprised that Andrew Swain called the Reds/Wales game instead of Sean Maloney, i guess they consider Wallaibies/Georgia a bigger game even though it really wasn’t a going to be a close game.
A test match is bigger than a tour match.
Sean Maloney is their Wallabies commentator.
I don’t know why they would put him on the tour match.
Agreed here. Sean’s going to do the Wallabies all the time (although maybe for the fall tour matches you wonder if they’ll take the TNT Sports commentary for that since they are the new rights holders in the UK). Just like Fox had Greg Clark do all Wallabies matches (at least until BeIn took over the rights for the overseas fall tour matches.)
