There will be changes to this year’s Rugby Championship schedule, due to COVID lockdown in New Zealand and related travel restrictions. The third Bledisloe Cup game in Perth next Saturday (August 28) has been cancelled; the Wallabies have been training in the city this week.
UPDATE 24/8: the remainder of The Rugby Championship will be played entirely in Queensland, in doubleheaders across four weekends from September 12. The third Bledisloe Cup match in Perth will also go head on a date to be fixed.
I get the feeling that the rescheduled Bledisloe Cup game will have to be shown on GEM nationwide (Due to the Live coverage of the NRL match between the West Tigers and the Bulldogs match at Moreton Bay Stadium. This match is the final home-and-away match before the NRL FInals). The Southern States might get NRL coverage on GO!

Wallabies look for home crowd advantage against All Blacks
The Wallabies continue their Rugby Championship campaign this Sunday at Perth’s Optus Stadium against the All Blacks in the third and final Bledisloe Cup test match, LIVE on Channel 9, 9Gem and 9Now.
There will also be extended, live and ad-free coverage on Stan Sport – the home of rugby.
While the Wallabies couldn’t shake off their Eden Park hoodoo last month – losing the first two tests to the All Blacks – they will be hoping a home crowd will help them build momentum for their 2021 Rugby Championship campaign.
Sunday’s game marks the first time since 1996 that the Wallabies have faced the All Blacks on home soil in a daytime fixture. And the Perth crowd will be right behind them, with the game expected to be a sellout.
Coverage will be presented by the top Wide World of Sports and Stan Sport commentary lineup, hosted by Roz Kelly and Nick McCardle, and featuring All Blacks superstars Sonny Bill Williams and Andrew Mehrtens. Wallaby greats Tim Horan, Drew Mitchell, Morgan Turinui and Justin Harrison will break down all the action, assisted by Allana Ferguson.
Bledisloe Game 2 at Eden Park was a disappointment for the Wallabies, trounced 57-22 by the All Blacks. The team will need to put the pain of losing the series behind them as they focus on upcoming clashes against South Africa and Argentina.
COVID-19 has played havoc with The Rugby Championship schedule – with all games having now been re-located to Queensland. Never before has Australia hosted four top tier rugby nations in what will be a festival of rugby with four consecutive weeks of double-headers between the Wallabies, All Blacks, Springboks and Pumas. Coach David Rennie has the unenviable task of choosing a starting lineup that can take the Wallabies to a new level.
The 9Network will screen all Wallabies fixtures in the 2021 Rugby Championship, with every match streaming ad-free, live and on demand with extended coverage on Stan Sport.

After losing the Bledisloe Cup series, the Wallabies are preparing for another brutal contest against the world champion Springboks, who have the most effective forward pack in international rugby.
After Sunday’s clash, there will be little recovery time for the Wallabies, who face the Springboks again on September 18 at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, before playing Argentina over two successive weekends: September 25 in Townsville and October 2 on the Gold Coast.
