James Bracey, Roz Kelly and Tony Jones (like their recent Aus Opens)? And Rebecca Maddern missing out on potentially anchoring Olympics, had she not defected back to Seven.
Note Bracey also hosting SOO and Roz French Open and Ashes very recently.

Nine have a great pool of talent to head up the Olympics coverage. In terms of hosting they’ve got James Bracey, Roz Kelly, Nick Mcardle as your main hosts. Then you’ve got the second rung hosts like Emma Lawerence, Danica Mason and Cliton someone from weekend today.
As for callers they’ve already trialed Matt Thompson to do play by play on the swimming and they’ve got the versatile Brenton Speed to do play by play in a variety of sports. They’ll then do what they’ve done in the past and use a heap of freelancers like Dave Culbert. They may be able to twist Ray Hadley’s arm to do play by play for athletics. They’ve also used Terry Macaullife in the past when they’ve had Comm games.
Annette Sharp is a raving lunatic who clearly has nothing to write about this week so she made up that nonsense.

I think it’d be dangerous for a major nationally-appealing sport/event to use all Sydney people, especially when Melbourne often rates highest and GTV have plenty of talent too (regardless if they have a national identity or are well known or not), not to mention other Nine markets/stations and their HoS is a Melburnian too. Not even Seven did that, they’d actually use talent from all corners of Australia (such as BTQ’s Pat Welsh famously and various, various from SAS Adelaide and TVW’s Basil Zempilas and various), not just HSV and ATN.
I mentioned TJ as he’s been used as an anchor on their Australian Open since 2019 and also on the ground in London for Wimbledon.

IMO I would probably rate 7 above them now. Fox Sports is also a lot better than 9 if you’re just comparing broadcasting.
Personally I rate Nine’s Australian Open Tennis coverage and Olympic Coverage above anything 7 have delivered. Nine appear to be more polished and professional IMO.

Nine can also use their radio talent such as callers from 6PR, 3AW and the continuous call team. Failing that, they can use freelance commentators like Seven did. Worst case, they can use the world feed if they can’t get callers for all sports.
