In the US, TV coverage on ESPN and CBS doesn’t start until 3pm EST (2pm on Sunday), but there are live streaming coverage all day.

I do recall this seems to be a quirk of the coverage rights. They’re not permitted by Augusta National to broadcast more than those hours. Seems an anachronism.

Yeah, the world feed does that. The thing that annoys me that the world feed guy just randomly comes over the top of the commenators unnecessarily and skips player interviews.

It’s not about ads either, this is the one tournament over there where they limit the ads. i watched the espn us coverage this morning and much more smooth

At least you can watch it all online, the my group function is fantastic. Their service has improved dramatically over the last few years.

But yeah historically they always would limit coverage windows

The biggest game of club football in the world, the UEFA Champions League final, will be Live and Free on 9GemHD and streamed ad-break free on Stan Sport when Liverpool and Real Madrid square off on Sunday, May 29, from 4.30am.

This mouthwatering final pits the two football giants against each other at Stade de France in Paris. Real Madrid have claimed the most titles in Champions League history with 13, while Liverpool are on an unprecedented path to win every title they have contested this season.

Real Madrid, the Spanish La Liga champions, have defied expectations in a fairytale run to the final with giant-killing performances against Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain and Chelsea. Their global superstars Karim Benzema , Vinicius Junior and Luka Modric will be plotting to win the club’s 14th Champions League title.

On the ground in Paris will be English football presenter Mark Pougatch and La Liga TV host Semra Hunter, with studio crosses from European football expert Lars Sivertsen .

English Premier League winner Mark Bosnich said: “This is one of the most watched sporting events in the world and we have the ultimate final between two of the most successful clubs in Champions League history that hold 19 titles between them. It’s a real honour to host it on Nine and Stan Sport . I can’t wait.”

Very last minute deal, but nice to see some live TV coverage of the FINA World Championships, after the previous event (in Gwangju, South Korea in 2019) was not shown in Australia at all.

It will be a big night of sport on 9Gem on June 18, with Super Rugby Pacific grand final and opening day of FINA World Championships.

With the swimming in week one of the Budapest championships, it will be interesting to see if 9Gem will also cover week two, including open water swimming, diving and water polo finals. It coincides with the first week of Wimbledon, which will also be on Nine/9Gem/Stan.

Swimming back home on Nine. Won’t be the same without Ray Warren though. Good timing to see the network interested in the sport as Amazon Prime’s contract is up.

Hope they pick up Australian Swim Team Olympic and Commonwealth Games trials like what they did in the past.

The 25m World Championships will also be held in Melbourne at the end of the year and there is no TV broadcaster as yet
