The 2021 Suncorp Super Netball season fixture, the last under the current broadcast deal with Nine and Telstra, was released on March 12. The season starts with the 2020 grand final rematch between Melbourne Vixens and West Coast Fever at John Cain Arena on Saturday, May 1, part of the doubleheader which also sees Collingwood taking on Sunshine Coast Lightning in the evening.
The grand final will be held on August 29.

They took the world feed this morning, usually they take the ESPN/CBS coverage. For some reason the world feed likes to have monotone guy talk over everything and interviews
So no Jim Nantz this year?
Yeah, but no way near as much, they seem to switch and change which sounds awful because the guy will come over them talking before they turn down the CBS guys. It destroys the flow of the coverage
Rumours getting louder today that Nine and Stan has won A League and W League rights for between $30-35m
I believe a few football media people are sniffing around the story as well.

IF Nine and Stan do win these rights, do you expect the coverage will be similar to that of Super Rugby?
And what will be the main night for Nine’s A-League coverage so it won’t overlap with Super Rugby?

It it was the same as the ABC coverage, then the 5:00pm Saturday game could be on 9Gem before the Super Rugby game coverage starts at 7:30pm.

At least they look to get a tad more than what Fox was offering now.
That will be good for football. Nine really coming to the fore with their new offering of free to air and subscription service. Stan sport beginning to build a decent portfolio.
Networks should’ve been doing this for a while to cut out fox.

The FTA matches for Round 1 are Vixens v Fever on Saturday (May 1) and Firebirds v Swifts on Sunday (May 2).

Suncorp Super Netball season returns
The Suncorp Super Netball season returns to Nine this Saturday at 3.00pm AEST with an explosive 2020 Grand Final rematch between the Melbourne Vixens and West Coast Fever at John Cain Arena in Melbourne.
All the best netball action will be LIVE and FREE with two games each weekend on Channel 9 and 9Now.
After a COVID-safe, condensed season last year, Australia’s premier netball competition resumes with a full home and away season in 2021, with 17 weeks of fixtures. Brisbane will host the NSW Swifts in the first round against the Queensland Firebirds on Sunday, May 2, at 1.00pm.
Each team will host seven home games, giving fans across the country the opportunity to once again cheer on their favourite teams live. The season will culminate in a three-week finals series with the Grand Final held at Ken Rosewall Arena in Sydney on Sunday, August 29.
This season will see the return of the Super Shot, which gives goal attacks and goal shooters the opportunity to score two goals from a designated 1.9-metre zone within the goal circle, and the introduction of Extra Time. A match will go into five minutes of extra time after a 90-second break if teams are tied at the end of regulation match time.
Lending their wealth of knowledge and love for the game to this year’s broadcast, Nine has a stellar commentary lineup for all the action on and off-court, led by netball legends Liz Ellis , Cath Cox, Laura Geitz and Sue Gaudion .
Fans can enjoy two live games a week on Nine with coverage starting at 3.00pm on Saturdays and 1.00pm on Sundays on both Channel 9 and 9Now.
Suncorp Super Netball will also be broadcast this year on Telstra TV and the Netball Live app.
