No live coverage of WNBL on Nine’s channels, but 68 regular season games (all exclusive) and selected finals on 9Now. A mixed bag for basketball fans.

Nevertheless, it will be the first time Nine Entertainment is involved in WNBL coverage, replacing the ABC as FTA broadcaster.

It will be the first time Nine broadcasts the Australian PGA Championship, although I have a feeling that the network may have shown the Australian Open many years ago before Seven picked up the rights.

You’re correct, back in the 1970s was tied into Jack Nicklaus’s redesign of the Australian Golf Club where Kerry Packer was a prominent member and included television rights.
ABC had the rights to the Open during the 1989s before Seven held them.

Doubt it. They probably like controlling the broadcast themselves.
