There’s a similar “Australia’s No.1” Ben Fordham ACA endtag running on the promos in Sydney today (with a Sydney Harbour background, of course). Not sure whether it’s because SCA have asked for the line to be changed though.

Already a complaint on 9 Life’s page
What are the chances of Channel 9 replaying the Bachelorette on Go or Gem for those of us in regional areas that can’t get tonight’s show… i undertsand 9life with be back on the 17th… but still… that would be a nice consideration to those the network have mess about since the switch !!!

We love Channel 84 ( now channel 54) 9 Life in Townsville and are madly in love with Wednesday evenings programmes and all the Reno shows over Friday night and the weekend.
What’s sad about the recent channel changes from the 1st of July is that we can no longer get 9 Life ( apparently coming soon / yeah, mid August) and now have to live stream it via the Internet until then. Not happy Jan!!!
Loving the nine branding and its great (after years of the puke worthy WN cover ups) but SC Nine should be a little be more careful of localism… A few tips from 7 Queensland would not go a stray… But again loving the Nine branding stick with it!!!

I’d guess it’s possibly more likely that it’s been changed because we’re now in the second half of the ratings year?
ACA would obviously have won the national (5-city) ratings for top current affairs show for the year now I’d assume (considering their only opposition, Today Tonight, only airs in 2 cities), so they can probably take out the claim of being “Australia’s No. 1” for this year now?

I’m pretty sure it is because Nine aren’t bothering to make a series of end boards for different markets with Ben Fordham and have just made the one (or possibly 2). Same end board was used in Brisbane. There isn’t anything different this week with the ratings that hasn’t be the case for several years - ie no comparable program.

this happens on 9 Northern NSW as well, it has to be a MC feed.
I decided to check the bitrates of SCA’s new channels this morning from here in Townsville, using 60 second samples of each channel.
This was what I found:
Nine: 4.285 Mbps
9HD: 5.374 Mbps
9Gem: 4.145 Mbps
9Go!: 4.154 Mbps
9Life: 0.774 Mbps
TBA: 1.103 Mbps
Aspire: 1.099 Mbps
Will be interesting to see how that changes when 9Life starts broadcasting on Sunday.

Ah… timing issues AGAIN!
Just got home and turned on 9 News.
We had local ad, 1 second of a sportsbet ad, then a Footy Show promo which cut out early, the SCA produced The Briefcase promo, then the end of a 9 Metro Sponsor Board was shown before the news returned! 
Next ad break, promo for The Hunt from the metro feed cut out half-way through.
Are they that lazy that they can’t cover it up or replace it when Channel 52?
Yes, they really are.
Nine should really move that HD down a little bit on their O&O feed.
I actually think SCA have the HD in a better spot. The top of the HD on Nine’s looks to sit above the top of the 9.
Gotta love those “news” updates. Just got one in Tassie with Grace Fitzgibbon (she does a decent job) but that ticker at the bottom… a weather warning in NSW is not relevant, got our own storms going on to worry about here !
Grace Fitzgibbon was previously a newsreader for Capital Radio (2CC/2CA) before joining SCA recently. From what I can gather, she currently presents news updates for TDT Tasmania, SCTV Central Australia and SCA Nine Southern Queensland. 
In the TDT updates the other day there was mention of a nude beach in Tasmania, the newsreader laughed as he read the story, was quite funny to see. Wish I got a cap but sorry I don’t.
Yep. The ticker on the Townsville update before said something about residents being warned of Black Ice and Snow.
