Nine (Southern Cross)

I’ve noticed WIN News running ads on a lot of regional stations trying to keep viewers past July 1 I guess

Could be an existing agreement either cash already paid or contra arrangement.

That’s true.
I just thought it was odd, as it’s the first time I’ve ever heard a WIN News promo on an SCA radio station here before.

Sounds like WIN may actually be going to start “retaliating” about the SCA/9 deal a little.

Smart move, WIN. Pissing off their viewers was always their strong point. I wonder what else they’ve got up their sleeve?

Absolutely no logic in this, especially if they’re keeping the WIN brand post-Nine affiliation.

None at all. This will just make viewers glad WIN isn’t involved with their favourite Nine shows anymore, come July 1.

As far as ACA is concerned, I would’ve thought that many here would think it’s a good thing that the show isn’t airing until after midnight in WIN-areas…

We’re just jealous!

There’s Always 9now.com.au to stream A Current Affair Live on the east coast where WIN will soon lose their Affiliations with Nine too.

Just saw an ad on Seven Townsville saying “Southern cross has teamed up with Nine and WIN is busy trying to look for a new partner, but here at Seven we are strong, secure and (didn’t hear the rest)”.

Unfortunately didn’t get a cap as it came up on the lounge room TV

Seven sinking the boot in already. :grinning:

[/quote] Been running for about a week now- I think the last word was sturdy…? I know it started with s

It was strong, stable and secure. ‘SC has teamed up with Nine (featuring a pack of cards being shuffled) and WIN is looking for a new partner’ (with a group of 10 cards being shown)

I wonder how many seats Seven will win at the election?

That is… bizarre to say the least.

I love Channel 7 for their strong, stable and secure programming, especially that show about dogs doing the LOLs

Really high quality stuff from 7 :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Given that 7Qld is the same company as Seven metro I’d be worried if they were anything but secure and stable together. Be awkward if they weren’t.

Meanwhile I don’t know of Prime running similar ads in their markets promoting their stability to Seven?

No way, it’ll be late in the year if not early next year.
