Dailymail might have a story on this…!

Nine had a brief flat 2D watermark with “Paris 2024” coming back from the break during The Block

Most stagnant graphic relaunch ever. A complete mish mash of old and new for at least the last 12 months.

If feels as if they have attempted this relaunch numerous times over the last 4 years but something keeps falling through and they revert back.

Remember that blue-red-white flat scheme they had briefly in 2019 for the look-ahead promos.

They’ve been matching with program logos.

Shows that generally have 3D glossy logos get the 3D Nine and shows with 2D or generally flatter logos get the 2D Nine.

the other two major networks had their major refresh since 2018 and went with flats. And Nine has still have their glossy logos. I’d say it’s time to have the flats watermarks on Nine now.

Who is hoping Jan 14 we finally get a new on air presentation package?

There’s a good chance we will see it tomorrow night during a Tipping Point preview/Carol by Candlelight and maybe a Nine Olympics screenbug too.

If not, then it would happen during the Australian Open or MAFS premiere in January.

Or else, could be July, who knows. But it feels like we are getting closer to a new on air presentation anytime soon. :crossed_fingers:

2006 Nine dropped the dots on January 30 and in 2012 Nine refreshed on Logies Night and the first season of The Voice AU

Just saw an Olympics promo that I can’t remember seeing before.

Same tagline as 7 when they aired Tokyo and Beijing with “Home of the Olympics”

Amazing promo for the Olympics. Brilliant from 9. New era for the games finally after the years of oppressive coverage from seven.

They weren’t great at all but not sure if oppressive is the best term since I don’t recall it turning Australians against each other lol.
