None of the commercial networks (Channels 7, 9 and 10) had more than 5% of presenters, commentators and reporters, who were identified as having a non-European background.
They need to make it imperative to get diverse voices on their team.
Getting the desire and drive for people eligible or not to get vaccinated is still a good thing.
Agree. Seeing well known personalities promoting it and getting vaccinated themselves helps with community sentiment around the vaccine.
Oh please… You may as well shut off from the world then. There’s no escaping the fact that there is a pandemic on and we all need to do our part including getting vaccinated.
To be fair to Nine this isn’t the first time the campaign has been recut. The original version that aired on Sunday night didn’t include Hamish Blake. I thought it was odd at the time that Andy Lee appeared and Hamish didn’t. I just checked a recording from Sunday and Blake definitely wasn’t in it but started appearing from Monday. It does seem Nine’s claim that they intended to roll out a number of promos for the initiative is true and more faces are being added.
Has been like that ever since Gold Coast playout moved down from QTQ to NPC back in 2012.
The (GCQ9 internal callsign) playout for 9 Gold Coast is fully separate from the 9 Brisbane playout.
But why is there inconsistency of any sort across the network? I would have thought that there was some design or scheme to the selection of colours etc and they weren’t just randomly generated.
Re, the random generation of different coloured PRGs on different stations across the network: Does it really matter?
They’re all within network branding guidelines (unlike in years gone by when the design of PRGs could vary wildly between markets) and 99% of viewers will only ever see one different version of Channel Nine on their screens at home anyway…
