true, but just “Queensland” underneath would look nice.
I like this. Just a question… is Nine airing episodes of Tom & Jerry? Would be nice!
@JacobA No, No, No, this is the movie version. No TV-series
Often see it on 60 Minutes, as they are exempt from a classification, but mag have stories that contain adult themes, drug references etc. Haven’t ever seen on something else.
We’re there classification bugs on the program?
Looks like it’s an error to me?
It was there for about 5 seconds at the start of the program
Glad someone else noticed, been thinking the same. Not just promos, various other presentation too, including ACMA regulated stuff such as closed captioning bugs and classification warnings at commencement of programs.
Looks like Nine Sydney (rather than NPC Media) creates/controls a lot more of Nine than first thought and compared to say Seven.
I’m not seeing the issue in these screenshots?
I flagged this problem a week ago
When it was still happening by late week, reached out to Knoxy on TVT, he had a look and said I was correct and after suggesting three scenarios to him he said “definitely the second one” [which was ‘Nine’s tech problems’ as opposed to being just coincidental errors or changes to ACMA]. He said he’d talk to Nine on Tuesday, looks like Nine have investigated and done something about it
Different font from usual too, right? Could be a graphical element from this mythical future relaunch that’s made it into live playout due to the current chaos.
Speaking of which, when is Nine going to revamp? Virtually unchanged in five years - I think that’s a record.
I would hypothesise that the watermark is coming from a DR system, which only overlays a still watermark and doesn’t get controlled or timed like their normal Vizrt graphics.
The classifications advice could be getting embedded when compiled for air, if they can’t overlay their graphics as normal.
Looks like an Arial Black font - maybe a backup system in play at the moment? Wouldn’t see Nine using Arial for their main channel
