Nine On-Air Presentation

That’s just for Stan Sport Rugby.

The wwos watermark for the tennis is also essentially flat other than the blue underneath

It’s been that way for ages…

I think you have to remember the only things we see on air from the original 2012 package are elements from it, which are the Billboards (although they aren’t the original), PRG and some promo elements. The lineups are gone, as are classifications.

It’ll happen at some point, but I don’t think in the near future. When it does it’ll just happen, we can hypothesize when it will and all that, but I don’t think it’ll be a scheduled thing as a network wide rebrand for the FTA channels.

IIRC, the Sponsor Billboards & In-Program Graphics (PRG, Promo Straps, etc.) were introduced towards the end of 2015 while many of the Promo Graphics are from 2016?

Lineups were turfed in Late 2017 and I don’t think any current look full screen Classification Warnings made it to air.

Well some elements of the 9Rush graphics (obviously only used since April last year) tie-in with the looks used by the other channels, so we could be waiting a while for a major rebrand.

Lol yes I wasn’t really going to go into a breakdown of what elements were tweaked in what year using the original ribbons and remixes of the theme. It’s a bit tiresome.
The core base of 2012 is there it just got simplified and tweaked.

All of the channels have their own identity. Sure they may share the same frame for a billboard, but gone are the days of a full network refresh. It’s a tweak here and there, or one channel gets a refresh. That’s my point I think that was missed. …

Life doesn’t really tie in with any of the other channels. Rush has elements but it’s still it’s own identity. They don’t all need to look the same IMO, they should have different identities

I agree. The Multichannels don’t look too bad in my opinion. It’s just the main Channel that seems to be a bit all over the place with its look.

I think I’ve mentioned this, but the main channel gloss is looking really tired now. The red logo looks particularly ugly.

seems to me there are hints everywhere that they are planning a relaunch. just saw an image from MAFS in an article with the flat watermark. and the flat is everywhere in 9now and on the web. I think it is probably only a matter of when they will do some sort of refresh. the promo last year that appear with the flat look was interesting as it used then dissapeared. it its possible someone decided it didn’t look good enough?

My thoughts are they may wait for the new CEO before relaunching.

I watched Sunday’s episode of MAFS last night via recording, and noticed a very odd graphics blooper during the episode. Following the episode was 60 Minutes… or so I thought!

You can see the template for 60 was used (with the outline of the clock logo in the top right of the box, and “NEW” strap), but for some strange(!) reason, the Here Come The Habibs logo was used :joy:
(Sorry for the dodgy cap)

Note: Here Come The Habibs aired its last new episode in July 2017

I noticed that too @Syd_TVChannel

Maybe a return to the series? I hope so!

It would’ve been a simple playout mistake, like when Seven accidentally ran a “Restaurant Revolution Starts in…” Countdown Watermark at the start of the Afternoon News about five years ago.

Not uncommon since their last update was like more than half a decade ago.

I remember when they use to tweak it every year or two.

Nine really need to fix the production ender.

The end of Weekend Today it was illegible.

Then it mistakenly popped up at the start of Sports Sunday
