I’ll say it again…. Any change from 9 will likely be in gradual stages…
Eg. 3D to 2D
Let’s be honest - What’s the point changing it… It’s just 9 little balls with a numeral 9 next to it. As long as it’s clear and slapped into the corner of your TV, you will know you are on Ch9, 9Gem, 9Go!, 9Life or 9Rush.
(Let’s be honest, the 3D logo is better than the 2D logo!!)
So their presentation is over a decade old and should be updated, but also don’t change anything because it’s better?

Like I said, I was making a joke about how long it has served the Nine Network
I didn’t actually mean to change it. If they want to tease us with the 2D logo on Channel 9. Either revert to 3D on the main channel.. or switch the multis to 2D. It’s really patch to be honest

See, normally jokes are funny.
I mean, making use of it in all of their branding of the main channel isn’t really teasing. They have used the 2D versions of multi logos on 9Now for a while now, and I am sure they will apply them to the channels at some point soon.
Say that to some of the members comments back in 2024…

Think I just heard Nine’s latest Aus Open promo for tomorrow (9Go! Full HD via 9Now) being voiced by Sylvia Jeffreys? Must be a first.
Initially I thought it was just a grab from her yesterday when anchoring the main channel in the afternoon, but then she continued throughout the promo, sounded too scripted and the “tomorrow” at the end to match the end-tag.
Must’ve done a favour from Melbourne Park for Nine Creative.

I have seen it done before, also Nine, with the FTA premiere of The Wolf of Wall Street in early 2017 IIRC.
I remember the operator of the “Australia Movie & TV Censorship” YT channel saying Nine’s chief classification officer Richard Lyle (who’s been there for half a century!) told him that the print included that opening card and was delivered to them like that. They decided to keep it in.
