Really? 9 Melbourne gets Tom Morris to report on Alastair Clarkson‘a homophobic remarks. Pretty ironic. Not too long ago he did similar.

He’s replaced Braden Ingram. Would be great to see him present sport on the afternoon news or on weekends considering he presented sport on the composite Regional Victoria bulletins from 2017-2020.

I don’t think there was anything sinister behind it. Otherwise she wouldn’t have been given the local news presenting role a few years later.

Talks about still filling in and still wanting the main gig, neither if which happened. I get the feeling there was moves to get her off the main 6pm desk, but as always was spun as this ‘more time with family’ line.

Tonight I went to meet Tom and tell him I’m a loyal Nine News viewer. After he finished his on location presentation I went over to him to talk to him. I said to him that I live in Ballarat and he said he grew up in Ballarat and used to play for the Ballarat Swans. I said to him that my brothers Sam and Charlie play for them.
I also told him that I was shocked and saddened when I first heard that Peter Hitchener was downscaling his presenting his role to weekends. He was pleased to hear me say that I’m a loyal Nine News viewer and that he and Alicia Loxley have great on-air chemistry with each other and with Tony Jones and Livinia Nixon too. I also got a selfie with him too.
