He did present ACA once in 2004, while Jim Waley was presenting Nine News Sydney. At the time, Overton was on 60 Minutes.

Technical problems with switching to the live cross this morning.
They started with the reporter at the property being searched by police, then showed the pre-recorded package. When they returned to the reporter there was no sound. When someone tried to fix it they accidently crossed to another reporter who was getting ready for another live cross outside the law courts. Then back to the reporter with no sound and finally the sound returned just before the cross ended. Shocker.

yeah you’d think it’d be obvious, but there must be a reason she’s not been given any more shifts reading the Melbourne news since she left weekends.

I think Jo only works like 2 days a week producing and reporting on special reports for weekends etc. I would say she might be happy with this deal.

I feel like Jo would have left years ago if she felt pushed aside or lost an on air role. Seven Melbourne would have snapped her up well before the likes of Rebecca Maddern.
