I also talked with Gillian Lantouris too who I first met in January this year at McDonald’s Lucas when I was in my car looking at YouTube, Instagram and the news on Facebook since the internet was down at home. I got out of my car when she and Seven News reporter Cassie Zervos were walking out of McDonalds to ask her if Peter Hitchener chose to move to weekends or if he was demoted by management. She said she thought it was his choice. She also asked me “I think we recognise you,” and I said “yeah I’m the person who went missing in the Grampians earlier this month.” She was shocked to hear that.
Tonight she and I were talking about music. She and I both like Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande and One Direction. I was wearing my One Direction t-shirt also. She and I are looking forward to her new album Eternal Sunshine being released tomorrow.
Tomorrow I’m going to the Jonas Brothers concert and after that I’m going to an Ariana Grande party at Stay Gold in Brunswick where there’ll be playing her new music from her new album as well as songs from her other albums.
I recognise Jess Webster’s name as she commentates matches on both ABC Radio and Fox Footy. I didn’t realise she had joined Sunday Footy Show as AFLW reporter.
Alicia Muling and 3AW’s Jacqui Reed were also at the media launch.
Just saw a Nine News Melbourne sport AFL promo, highlighting new acquisition Tom Morris: “they might have the footy, but we have the reporters”. Not so subtle dig at their arch-rival? Love it though
