Actually you’ve just made me realise, Adelaide still has the original desk

Perth too. They have the original desk too

Pretty sure Perth and Adelaide got new video walls on the LHS without the grid look, while the other markets got a new desk.

Syd/Bris don’t have a LHS screen, and seems like Melbourne still has the grid screen, as they got the desk upgrade?

Do they count as full episodes though if they’re just the first half hour? I know they probably can’t do the 6:30 half due to sports restrictions, but it still doesn’t seem right for them to call these full bulletins.

Why are they limited to 22-24 mins? Is a limit imposed on their end? Or do they not own the rights to some of the stories for YT, including the sports segment and full weather forecast?

Edit: Kiwis-Tonga finishes bang on 6pm, we are off to the news in time.

Yes, it was quite an abrupt end to the coverage… literally five seconds after the full time whistle was blown.

‘Everyone is freaking out’: Nine staff warned of job cuts across its streaming and broadcast division

TV Blackbox understands around 50 roles will be lost, but it is hoped many of the staff affected can be moved to other roles, including new positions being created in line with the changes.

Is a ‘whole of network’ approach.. so may affect non news staff and potentially NBN Nth NSW too.

How much profit did nine make last year? Typical Australian business execs addicted to consultants and short term gains. When there’s no one of any experience or value left, the audience goes elsewhere.
