Nine News broke into programming in all markets for coverage of a news conference.
“This is a breaking update from Nine News”.
Seven covered this in AEDT areas and 10 had it in their Midday news.
It was a bit confusing for Adelaide ( and probably later for Brisbane) viewers where the prep for the news conference was then seen in a window during the 11.30 News.

I noticed it last night as well (and tonight). Seems clearer.

That text is different to the one they use in the openers/updates. I think I prefer it.

I think it looks okay, but pink is just not a very ‘newsworthy’ colour…

Yes. I’d use this on the left with white for the outer circles behind the newsreader.

Damn the Melbourne backdrop has been zoomed in even more. Why can’t they just zoom out and go back to what it was from 2009-2023?
