Someone also mentioned that it is also almost 14 years since a seagull appeared in live shot behind Peter Hitchener during a bulletin in October 2009.

IIRC Peter said in a studio tour with @blackbox around the time of the move to Docklands that they’d moved the camera higher so that only birds with stilts would get in the shot. Appears not.

The fact that it’s almost never happened ever since then would imply that they must’ve done something.

Is it the same as in Sydney where to earn $1000 you would have to get the keywords from Ben Fordham, Ray Hadley, Deborah Knight, and Chris O’Keefe’s shows? Seems like too much effort for too little return. Make the prize money worthwhile or have the chance to win $1000 in each show.

Didn’t see it.
But noticed 9 Melbourne led with a sky diving plane crash where no one died ahead of the war.
What does everyone think about that?
The Israel war has been going on for a couple of weeks now, and is unlikely to end anytime soon… Wars aren’t new and happen all the time… the one in Ukraine has been going for over a year now.
The Sky Diving accident is a lot closer to home too.
