Doubt theyād want to risk losing that audience. Unless they think they can gain more from 10 News First.
Something to do with Hot Seat rating well in Sydney, canāt remember well. Also, one of the reasons NRL is on the main channel in Melbourne is āto boost ratings for NRLā
Also the current successor for Hitch is still Alicia Loxley, Hitch personally said he would like her to take over.

This blue thing is the pillar that supports the foundation on the building. It is on the bottom floor of the building. Not as easy as removing it as then the building will crumble down.

It seems that TCN usually starts the sport segment 10 minutes earlier than other stations around Nine at 6:35PM, and ends it at 6:45PM, where GTV etc. are just starting it. In between sport and weather is another News segment. How long has this been going for?

Ah alright. It seems that GTV, QTQ, NWS and NTD have sport at 6:45-6:55, while TCN and STW have sport at 6:35-6:45, and another News segment before weather.
NBN however looks to have sport from 6:35 to 6:55, to fit in the local sport window.
Melbourne used the same rundown as TCN when the new set first launched. Did prefer it like that with the additional news block.
Yes they have an ad break before the last of the generic sports segment.
Mistake in Sydney tonight for the lead story. The graphic in the screen didnāt fit. Also it looked like the opening shot didnāt recall properly - was quite jarring.
