Nine News Content and Appearance

It appeared perhaps the wrong take was aired, Chris held up a piece of paper and said take two (or something along that lines)

Anyone know why the blooper I posted on here was removed?

It was posted a day ago, in another thread.

It’s not the job of a news service to “fight for Queensland”, it’s to report the news.
Those sort of campaigns should be kept for ACA.

Seven seem to be mirroring the campaign. Lucky us.

I didn’t know that 9 News had a slider ticker.

This is from 9News Melbourne sport 6PM

They should roll this out around the country for morning and afternoon bulletins too.

They’ve had this for years. Only used for AFL team changes.

That doesn’t look very good… I dont think a ticker would work with these graphics

Too much blue I reckon

Agreed, would prefer it either run across the entire screen or within the length of the pre-existing graphics.

New winter themed graphics for weather in Melbourne

Hoping they use the new standardised template once they receive the tweaked package.

I wonder if they are waiting to update all the sets with the new curved desk-front screen before rolling out the graphics changes?

The new logo treatment won’t interact well with the split angled screens.

Yeah I was wondering the same. It’ll look odd especially in shots seen above for the weather.

You might be onto something there!

No new desks or screens. I’ve heard from a source at 9 Melbourne the updated look will be rolled out everywhere else within the next 2 weeks.

I do wonder how they’ll handle the desk imaging though. Continue with the current vertical logo?
