The set looks amazing and the graphics actually look good, the right side look no different to the current ones as they still have a subtle globe and 9News.com.au

The opener looks much better there than in the news update earlier. As for the lower-thirds, what if the '9News.com.au’box wasn’t a big?
I would like to hear if the content has improved since that was a problem I was hearing of Nine News Perth.
No chance. The last time they tried that the changes didn’t last 2 weeks in Melbourne, and Adelaide eventually reverted back to the previous music too. Can’t see them trying again.

I think of the supers as the evolution of the package before they were made flat in 2014.

Lots of TCN elements. The supers are now shown during live crosses.And the Nine News banner that used to go into the commercial break is gone.
The only element I don’t particularly like is the backdrop behind the sport presenter, otherwise the set is stunning.

Also the placement of the locations above the split screen is awful. It’s typical 9 with the uneven and block type supers, similar to their on-air look as I mentioned earlier which I cannot stand.
The studio, set & the openers look fantastic, even better in HD.

Just judging by the two clips in the update there, but looks like Nine Perth’s weakness is their reporters - neither looked particularly natural in those pieces to camera.
Looks really nice though.

It might have been a look ahead at sport and not the full sport bulletin.
Usually, the set looks worse on air than in the promos however, this is great. Very sleek, very polished.
That political reporter looks awful.
