A good way to ask questions you always wanted answered… Anthony from Docklands “How much do you earn each year Peter?”

Looks like Fraser Island and Mornington Island have been excised from Queensland?
Not a fan of how GTV is trying to avoid the back end of the Pres V fade through black on their 6pm News opener over recent weeks so as to keep the dramatic bullet sounding punchiness on the fast crash zoom at the start. I note Pres no longer do a cut into the opener anymore as I believe that request was only made by Melbourne with the rest of the network living with the V fade. Think it dates back to the olden era when GTV Pres was still in Melbourne. Anyway, so as to get around the V fade, I note the GTV control room seem to roll the opener around 12 frames late so as to get that cut transition effect back. Well it caught them out tonight as we saw the back end of Jo Hall, the VIC regional news presenter. Roll your opener on time please GTV, as I prefer the opener coming up out of a V fade instead of the old fashioned cut transition you are still trying to perform which is really jarring!!
These don’t look too bad considering the rubbish on air promo graphics that often appear.
