No different to other bulletins that cross to “the newsroom” when that is usually the wall behind them.
Well done to @Leo_Puglisi6 - a scoop on 4pm Nine News Sydney just a few mins ago!
Thanks so much guys!
I don’t think I’ve seen any news bulletin do that before?
Sydney 4pm News now has a headlines opener, rather than starting straight on the titlecard then wiping to the desk:
What a joke that bulletin is.
Based on these caps it appears the new vertical plasma featured on Today is not a permanent fixture.
Looks sensational
Good to see them using some different angles that appear to have carried over from Today.
That looks hideous. I know social distancing is in place but in that case they should stick with the sitting presentation.
Andrew looks like he’s almost blocking the graphics.
Been like it for a few weeks. I commented on it at the time. Thanks for the caps!
Just how “exclusive” was this report (on airline food being sold to the public) on Nine News?
Seven News
Seems that (perhaps) Seven saw the promos that Nine were running during the day and put together a spoiler report. And Seven’s was shown first, so I suppose it was “First ON Seven” and not a Nine exclusive at all.
Probably meant to be a First On Nine I believe.
Seeing that Nine did take a closer insight into the story, something the other FTA news networks didn’t do (good for them )
Exclusive is definitely the wrong marking if any other FTA news network is going to be covering this.
Have I missed something over the past while? Do Nine Sydney still use/have the news exchange set anymore? The one previously used for morning and afternoon bulletins was one of my all-time favourites. I’ve been looking at a few montages on YouTube and they all seem to use the main set?
I’m pretty sure the news exchange is still there, even if rarely/never used as an on-air set anymore.
Not sure if the graphic itself is new, but Nine News Melbourne has promoted the Light FM simulcasts in the past.
The graphic in that style is new, yes
How come Melbourne still gets a simulcast and Sydney doesn’t?
Edit: Brisbane and Perth still have their bulletins simulcast. Looks like it’s just Sydney that got shafted.
