I’m pretty sure that I’ve seen that one being used in the 9News.com.au Website-centric promos that aired around 2014-15.
Now we’ve seen examples of those graphics being used in three markets, I wonder if that is indeed a tiny piece of the new look? Certainly looks like an evolution of the current “First On Nine News” and similar transition graphics to me anyway…
I correct myself then. 
I was hoping for something a little different to the current look, but I guess we’ll just wait a see.

I saw that same watermark used on a 9 Brisbane promo that aired today after the local morning news, has been in use for a while now.

I believe that Nine Perth was owned by Sunraysia Television back in 2006 (WIN bought the station in 2007 with the Nine Network themselves getting it in 2013) but yeah, definitely substandard On-Air Presentation especially when you compare it to what the East Coast Nine stations were running with at the time.
But what’s really sad is National Nine News in Adelaide & Perth during the 2004-06 era of On-Air Presentation compared to the stunning graphics that National Nine News bulletins on the East Coast were running with back then…

9 Perth was still owned by Sunraysia Television when that was capped 2006, WIN didn’t take control until mid-2007. It has come a long way over the years - and for the better going by that clip.
It’s funny how the times have changed with 9 Perth now having a proper set whilst STW has gone the way of dodgy virtual sets.

Meh, no worse than how GTV used to butcher the network look.
The user added watermark in that video is more annoying that the Nine and Seven exclusive watermarks.

The Sports presenter said that tonight’s Sports report was the last from the Dianella studios, but not sure about the bulletin in general.
