But where would Peter be? In the newsroom perhaps?
Sharing the desk with either Alicia or Brett.
Even in the TOSS with a recorded background of news exchange or newsroom would be nice.
Edit: or would that be used for regional use during that time?
Nice of them to show a montage in Adelaide instead of just announcing change and showing the complete set elsewhere with the presenters flown in.
all these negative comments about Adelaideâs new set promo , clearly shows that Adelaide is 7âs townâŚ
I wouldnât pay a lot of attention to the opinions of Facebook keyboard warriors.
Bob is notoriously hard to please though.
That massive black screen is interesting - maybe itâs the resolution of the video but there doesnât appear to be any joins between the monitors.
I could be wrong, but a new set and flashy camera views wonât do shit to their ratings. Adrian the normal human being tunes into the news service they trust, not the news service that has bells and whistles but little substance.
To be fair, for as long as Jane Doyle and John Riddell continue hosting Seven News Adelaide, they could present from a tent or a cardboard box and viewers will continue to tune in every night
Nine News Adelaide had a period under WIN ownership of presenters changing and that really didnât start to solidify until Kate Collins and Brenton Ragless started hosting together, although it seems lately theyâre not even hosting as a pair half the time
Ahh I see Sandra Sully is their mentor.
Instead they broadcast from a shitty greenscreen set
Theyâre only apart this week because there isnât room for both of them in the temporary studio.
Are you getting Perth and Adelaide confused? Adelaide is either very real, or extremely convincing.
Thatâs what I get for posting at rediclious times of the night
Deb Knight said the end of Morning News today we will have your local Afternoon News at 4
I suspect that Adelaide is getting the Melbourne version of the set without the curved video wall that perth/sydney have. I think itâs just a lightbox like Melbs.
Iâm sure Melbourne has a curved video wall like Perth & Sydney. They just donât have the TV wall behind the weather tv like in Perth.
Perth, Sydney and Melbourne have a plasma wall to the LHS of the desk, but only Perth has one behind the weather presenter as well while others have a light box.
The frame we see in the Adelaide clip looks to me like the one for the screen on the LHS with the frame for the blue perspex panel (between the curved backdrop and the weather area) to the right.
It does too. My badâŚ
I guess Melbourne doesnât have one as that part of the set needs to be moved around to make room in the studio, a light box is much easier.
