How National Nine News Adelaide opened their news bulletins in 1989

1989 would mark the start of a 13 year winning streak for Nine Adelaide, after SAS 10’s eyewitness news held the crown for most of the 80s.

Of course, in 2001, SAS would retake the ratings crown again as Seven News, which it still hold’s to this day.

An interesting claim. I am sure it is documented somewhere, but I would have thought Seven and/or Nine would have been dominant during that time.

Her first stint at Nine? This was Less than a year before she went to present the 5pm 10 News NSW bulletin alongside Ron Wilson before returning to Nine exactly 11 years later replacing Tracy Grimshaw on Today.
