Nine Network - Programs and Schedules

Brisbane

Not a very good quality promo IMO. Nine HD logo (including two on the endtag - sloppy work IMO) on what appears to be an SD-produced promo…and what’s with that “comic book/strip” font?!

Also, what’s the bet that Riverfire actually won’t be produced/airing in HD for some reason?

That’s the one. Returning soon to GEM.

The show, Paramedics, will be narrated by Samuel Johnson, and will debut on Thursday October 4, according to today’s Herald Sun.
Trying to get a jump on Ten’s Ambulance Australia perhaps.

Paramedics

From Thursday 4 October at 8.30pm

ON THE FRONTLINE WITH EMERGENCY HEROES

Paramedics a compelling documentary series offering unprecedented insight into the daily lives of emergency service heroes, premieres Thursday, October 4, at 8.30pm on Nine.

The series produced with the help of Ambulance Victoria features unrivalled access to paramedics, with vision captured from up to 60 cameras rigged in ambulances, helicopters and on motorbikes.

Narrated by acclaimed actor and philanthropist Samuel Johnson OAM , each episode tells the patients’ stories through the eyes of the dedicated paramedics.

Samuel Johnson OAM said: “This incredible series has been two years in the making and finally lifts the veil on the amazing work these heroes do in our community. With more than two million emergency calls made every year in Victoria, this show gives you a whole new appreciation for paramedics.”

In episode one, Taz and rookie Amanda face a life-and-death scenario where every second counts in treating a man who collapsed after leaving a sauna. Meanwhile Jamie and Mike deliver friendly first aid to a colourful character having a tough time.

Natalie and Leonard find a novel way to lift an elderly patient’s spirits, and Matt and his helicopter crew make an emergency flight to Shepparton to save a two-year-old girl who has fallen unconscious and stopped breathing.

Paramedics , a series of ten 60-minute episodes, is a WTFN production for Channel Nine with the help of Ambulance Victoria.

Quick question -

Does anyone know if Nine has more episodes of 20 to One in the can or if they actually played out all the episodes?

Buying Blind back on Monday @8:40 after The Block…

Does anyone know if it’s repeats or new eps?

Nine News at 8PM in Perth? Perth viewers have never had an 8PM news before.

Found out there are at least 3 episodes unaired.

Does anyone have an update on these four shows:

Accidental Heroes (which has never aired)
Lethal Weapon (season 2)
The Taste (season 2+)
Bachelor in Paradise US (season 4)

Australia will play two rugby league tests in Auckland next month, against New Zealand on October 13 and Tonga on October 20. Given the matches start at 7.45pm NZ time, and Auckland is two hours ahead of Sydney and three hours ahead of Brisbane, will Nine News be shown in Sydney and Brisbane after the game?

Either that or the game will be on 9Gem

New US drama Manifest got off to a good start in the US on Monday night so expect to see it heading to Monday’s or Wednesday’s on Nine after Bite Club or Doctor Doctor ends.

Nine should have aired it last night if they wanted any chance of success with this show.

It only aired yesterday morning US time and True Story with Hamish Andy or The Block shouldn’t have been moved to make room for it.

From what I have seen of previews it seems very Lost. I can’t see it lasting too long on Australian screens anyway.
