The NRL dumped the McIntyre final eight system years ago, perhaps someone forgot to tell Nine programming. As per the AFL, there are 2 Qualifying Finals and 2 Elimination Finals.

Any idea why the AFL Footy Show is Tuesday? Is it as simple as wanting clear air away from The Front Bar?
I think Nine does not want to rest Bite Club for one week just for AFL Footy Show in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
It also isnāt getting that good a timeslot with a 9:10pm start next Tuesday. Wednesday would be harder to accommodate with a longer episode of The Block that night and not wanting to move Bite Club that is still trying to gain an audience.
Note: another True Story repeat thrown in tonight.

I was surprised they donāt air 20/20 on Sunday morning at 6am and an encore of 60 Minutes at 4am on Monday morning OR if 20/20 has been dropped then maybe another 60 Minutes encore on Sunday morning at 6am if its all about cost cutting

Yes. In Sydney and Brisbane, the AFL Version always airs after the NRL version. I assume it is also the Grand Final edition too.
