yeah and just drop HD coz there’s no need for differentiation.
As a shareholder, I’m concerned about the bottom line… Besides I’m not usually up at that time to watch the riveting presentation of the Ab Swing Machine… How a machine like that could be soooooo exciting… Even more exciting when James talks about it
Who in the heck is James?
Probably James Cheney?

Nine News didnt start until 6.20pm due to NRL overrun. I expect ratings will be significantly down in Melbourne with most viewers tuning in at 6pm switching straight to Seven.
When are Nine going to accept that the greater percentage of Victorians could not give two hoots about the NRL. Kerry of Bellevue Hill would be spinning in his grave knowing that some meat head made the decision to allow this to delay the news in Victoria. Nine you reap what you sow. Oh how the mighty have fallen!
The NRL on main channel in Melbourne has to be a contractual requirement… otherwise there is no logical reason they couldnt have moved the game to 9GEM at 6pm so News could start on time.
I think that Nine are trying to cram too much in between 11:30am and 6pm-ish. The NRL Sunday Footy Show looked sad on air for 30 minutes. I feel it should have been 10am til 11am then try and have NRL move start times up 15 to 20 minutes to allow for limited overrun.
I know it’s not possible this season but perhaps Nine, NRL and other stakeholders could come to some sort of agreement for the future

This line-up everywhere looks like a complete gift to Seven, could even decide the week, I’d expect a 40% share and 15% margin for them. A shame NRL final is during day time, however if close could at least provide Nine News in Sydney and Brisbane with a high Saturday audience and prop up share, including into ACA.
Seven’s AFL final confirmed for 7:40pm, including two non-Vic teams in Port Adelaide and GWS.

The Show Goes On
Thursday 14 September 7:30 pm
“The Show Goes On” is a 9News Special hosted by Peter Hitchener and Alicia Loxley celebrating the 175th anniversary of Melbourne Royal and the iconic event that is the Melbourne Royal Show.
IIRC Nine Melbourne also had a similar special last year, to utilise the network’s major partnership with Melbourne Royal Show.
40 minute edition for A Current Affair? That’s different.
