This line-up everywhere looks like a complete gift to Seven, could even decide the week, I’d expect a 40% share and 15% margin for them. A shame NRL final is during day time, however if close could at least provide Nine News in Sydney and Brisbane with a high Saturday audience and prop up share, including into ACA. Seven’s AFL final confirmed for 7:40pm, including two non-Vic teams in Port Adelaide and GWS.

RE: 7.40pm start for PA v GWS this Sat. (somewhat surprising for fairness - commentators on air the other night tipped it might be earlier like 7:10pm or even twilight but maybe Seven bosses resisted), also involving two non-Melbourne teams PA and GWS. Sydney shares could be very competitive this night from all main channels, presuming Seven put Giants on main channel there rather than Border repeat and movies. Wonder if Brisbane and Perth will revert to Border and movies (was Wk 1 main channels nationally just for week 1 I wonder?)
