Nine Network - Programs and Schedules

aryan3, Why don’t you ring Channel 9 Yourself and see the Proof.

I think Aryan3 knows what he’s talking about. He works in the media and has given us scheduling updates before anyone else before.

Found this , not sure if still accurate. Gotham S1 is on Netflix Australia…

Netflix has secured exclusive Australian subscription video on-demand rights to the highly anticipated superhero television series Gotham.Nine Entertainment holds the broadcast, first-run, and in-season catch up rights to Gotham.Netflix, should it launch in Australia, will not be able to stream the show until after the linear broadcast of each season on Nine. It’s understood Nine will air Gotham later this year.
A Nine Network representative said any SVOD service would not be able to stream Gotham in Australia until a year after the broadcast premiere of the show on Nine.

A more recent article April this year…

http://www.businessinsider.com.au/netflix-in-australia-2016-4

The Nine Network, which owned the commercial TV rights to the hit show Gotham, even delayed the airing of it to push back the digital rights becoming available for Netflix. In the US, Gotham began airing on 22 September 2014 and finished on 4 May 2015. Nine delayed its Australian premiere by a month, and its finale even longer, which meant Netflix didn’t have access to the show until October 2015.

Oh …

“Which owned”

So Foxtel has it now ? :frowning:

I’d still like to see a copy of the standard “proof of airing rights” documentation issued by all networks upon request by television viewers and/or bloggers.

Nine better find a Date for Gotham season 2 soon even it means airing it after 11 at Night. Once Person of Interest and Survivor US complete their Runs on TV.

Even when Stalker runs out of Repeats.

If Gordon had an embarrassing body it would get a run.

11:00 PM Survivor moved to 11:30pm

Again? Wasn’t one of the Hangover movies on just last week?

Part 3 was on 15 October

Did they show Part 1 and Part 2 in the previous weeks, like they usually do?

I don’t think so.

Yeah sick one Nine.
This series is just as enjoyable as the new telemovie miniseries ‘The Daily Bailey - The best moments at the Weather Wall’ special we all know Ten wants to commission or the new comedy channel 7Fergo!

Not sure what Harry Potter is doing back on Nine’s main channel - after multiple repeats on 9GO! Are Nine losing the rights or are they trying to boost their youngest demo results?

Fantastic Beasts is coming out at the cinema, so Nine is trying to capitalise on renewed interest in the franchise.

Again Again?
Nine seem to have this movie airing a lot lately across Nine and 9Go!

Along with countless other ‘regulars’. Seven are just as bad too, Ten to a lesser extent.

The cricket was scheduled to end at 8.45, but play continued for another 20 minutes. Fair enough, they have to show all the play, but they’ve been waffling for another 20 minutes since play ended and now they are chatting about Max Walker. I don’t know what they are doing next so I’ll be recording till 1 am to make sure I get Survivor.

Addendum: They are still showing Rush Hour 2, so why all the cricket filler? Now they are 40 minutes late.
