What a piss weak schedule for the final ratings week, one I’m sure Nine should’ve tried harder, given FFF has bombed and they’ve lost the past few weeks easily.

My comment particularly directed at Victoria’s Secret, ARIAs (which doesn’t rate) and other mid-late night programming, even chucking in a B-Grade movie premiere mid-week.

Even Saturday’s historic day/night Ashes won’t do much, as it’s up against the RLWC final! Who would’ve thought they’d be against each other. Really, really splitting the audience. Cricket will do well in its AFL markets (as it always does).

I think it’s safe to say Nine will have to wait another year, at least to use the tag-line “Channel 9 is No. 1 for 2017”

I think you will be surprised.

Well, I’ll be watching it, so I hope I’m surprised :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Why not just air the News at the normal time of 6pm in all markets and move the cricket to 9GEM where needed?

With The Ashes First Test starting at 10am AEDT on Thursday, the morning and afternoon schedules differ in different states.

Looks like Today/Extra will continue 30-min/1-hour delayed in Adelaide/Brisbane as per normal.
With Darwin and Perth both receiving a 1-hour delayed telecast rather than their normal longer delays.

Seems weird for Perth to schedule their local afternoon news at 3pm, instead of the normal time of 4pm it’s on every other day.

Because of scheduling of each day’s play of the day/night test. The dinner break is 40 minutes long which is perfect time to show the news in Sydney and Melbourne.
Session 1: 2.30pm - 4.30pm AEDT
Tea: 4.30pm - 4.50pm AEDT

VICTORIA’S SECRET FASHION SHOW 2017

Wednesday 29 November at 9.00pm

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show celebrates the pinnacle of fashion, beauty, music and entertainment at the world’s biggest fashion event in a one-hour special on Wednesday, November 29, at 9.00pm, after The Voice Kids UK on Channel Nine.

Filmed in Shanghai for the first time, the dazzling show features exclusive interviews from the pink carpet, model profiles, and a behind-the-scenes look at the most talked about catwalk event in the world.

The Victoria’s Secret Angels in the fashion spectacular include Bella Hadid, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Candice Swanepoel, Lily Aldridge, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Stella Maxwell and Taylor Hill, as well as many new faces.

Joining the sparkling Angels for music performances will be Harry Styles, Miguel, Leslie Odom Jr, and Chinese pop sensation, Jane Zhang.

And who could miss the annual unveiling of the fabulous, eye-popping fantasy bra? The Champagne Nights Fantasy Bra, valued at $2 million and worn by Lais Ribeiro, has been designed by world-renowned jeweller Mouawad. The show-stopping creation has 6,000 precious gemstones and took 350 hours to make.

Prepare yourself for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show when the cream of the world’s supermodels take to the runway in glamorous wings draped with dramatic jewels to put on the greatest runway extravaganza of the year.

A few scheduled models and performers couldn’t appear because China cancelled their visas. Katy Perry is one of those banned apparently because she has publicly supported Taiwan, and model Gigi Hadid because of a video her sister uploaded that shows her making fun of the Buddha.

Nine is fast tracking this - it’s on Tuesday night on CBS.

Fair enough, but anyone tuning in at 6pm expecting to see News will be switching over to Seven.

Weirdest thing on Nine this afternoon.
Cricket ended at 5:34pm (AEST). We had a sponsor board (via SCA) then cut straight into the middle of an episode of Hot Seat.

Just bizarre!

Luck Queenslanders get tips on how to make more work for yourself for Christmas one day early!

So does Nine not have the rights to the first Lethal Weapon or are they planning to slip in the first movie in the open TBA slot (that Sydney won’t get)?

TBAs:

Adelaide
10:30 PM FLIGHTS FROM HELL: CAUGHT ON CAMERA

Perth

According to today’s Herald Sun, Nine will have the FTA premiere of Minions (spin-off from Despicable Me, another NBC Universal title) and a Christmas Trolls special this month.
