Nine Cricket Coverage

Rumour is Slater & Clarke were filling their faces… Whilst Taylor, Warnie & Chappell were up in the studio for a couple of hours on-air!

Ian Healy was on fire today, walking around with an umbrella for hours cracking Dad jokes with Taylor :joy:

Not really great for cricket if the telecast keeps getting delayed and the most likely outcome will be a draw…

And thunderstorms are forecast for tommorow :rage:

I think I would rather a four day test than a weather disturbed test match.

Mark Nicholas has been rushed back to hospital in pain.

i think it will end up a draw only need for it to rain again

Just heard that on 3AW. Tim Lane said Nicholas was fine as he returned to work this morning, but complained of pains after chatting to Wasim Akram on air during the tea break. Looks like the problem could be more serious than first thought.

The Excess Coverage has Delayed Tonight’s Viewing in Sydney and Melbourne and Regional Areas on AEDST Time by 30 Minutes.

Iconic was probably too strong a word.

3 days in and i haven’t seen the Lawry+Chappell pairing yet. Paired mostly with Warne and Clarke.

Ian Chappell loves to pull Lawry’s chain

(Ah yes, he’s a South Australian)

I’m not so sure about that. Even if it weren’t to rain again I couldn’t see Pakistan getting out easily.

And that Australia would need to score about 600 in the first innings to put Pakistan under some pressure.

Mark has taken leave. So I assume he will be back for the Sydney test.

Depends on if he’s given the all clear.

Also these highlights that they’re showing at the moment. Is it just my TV Set or does it look like they’ve got the footage off YouTube

Apparently the highlights currently on are from the early '90s.

I’ve certainly noticed the fuzzy video quality, not sure if that’s because the master tapes have seen better days or what.
