I wonder if this will lift the network share at all, or just cannibalise its other channels.

Where do you think a large amount of the content is coming from for this channel? This is still a version of MTV and that article was from a year ago… 10 could have been workshopping what the channel was going to be like and it’s become broader than just MTV. Don’t be so quick to write them off.

Just like when South Park was the new cult show in 1997 and many regional areas did not have access to SBS.

We didn’t get SBS until much, MUCH later. Often we’d get Tamworth’s SBS signal here in Scone via DX/troppo.

They should get Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Harvey Birdman, Venture Bros… Last time seen on FTA was 9GO!.
I would love to see them screen MTV and Nickelodeon award shows on the channel. Just like 10 Peach did a couple of weeks ago.

Shepparton was the same. Most Sheppartonians had a 2nd UHF aerial to receive SBS from Mount Alexander (100 km SW away in a straight line).

I see the daytime Nickelodeon content outrating the nighttime MTV shows for this channel.
All of those have aired on MTV numerous times and all are available for streaming on Stan.
Same goes for the Nickelodeon content but parents will just leave that on for their kids like ABC Kids does.
I’d probably still expect ABC Kids to be the highest rating of those two channels by a considerable margin though. Even in metro markets, there are probably still a fair few homes without MPEG2 channels in 2020. And is Foxtel even planning to carry 10 Shake?

You’re missing my point. I’m saying I think 10 Shake’s strength will be the kids programming with the night time content rating lower.
