Nickelodeon (formerly 10Shake)

Disappointing that the locally produced kids shows aren’t being supported during the daytime loop.

If there’s one produced for the new channel, hopefully there’ll finally be a Promo Endtag for Scope featuring Isla Nakano…only 2-3 months after making her on-screen debut in episodes (remembering the Toasted TV cameo a little while before that)!

The colour scheme of those promos…is someone at the Network Ten graphics department a West Tigers or GWS Giants fan?

Sorry, couldn’t resist!

Nothing on my tv yet after re-scan

Mines doing this too. Because they’re both showing 210 10HD at the moment I’m saying it is a technical glitch.

I have to say, those promo enders are a little underwhelming. They could have done so much more with them. Way too sterile, especially for a channel that’s meant to be fun, vibrant and youthful.

I don’t mind it tbh. It’s in line with the other channels.

I do like how they have a light and dark theme depending on type of programming (kids / adult)

I get that it sticks to the 10 template (10plate lol) which I like to see in general, but the first impression I got is it’s too clinical and bland. Could be the colours too? I like the same style with Peach and Bold’s colours.

Well nothing on 13.
10Shake on a loop on channel 350?

Agree. That does not look or feel fun / kids / playful / edgy - at all!

I just checked the other 210 channel on Foxtel out of curiosity and for some reason, it is locked with a pin. I’ve just done a rescan to see what happens.

Do you think some of us can afford a $50 set top box in these trying times?

You’re meant to withdraw $10,000 from your superannuation, take it to Harvey Norman and buy the biggest and best flat screen TV that money can buy.

Believe me mate, I wish.

People in non metro areas are going to be pissed that it won’t be available on Free to Air for them … or will they? Will be interesting to see it on Facebook saying new South Park and people complaining they aren’t seeing it .

Edit : No longer in HD either ?

They should complain to their local regional network who are the decision makers of whether this is shown in their area or not.

There are plenty of other ways people can watch the show nowadays, then relying on terrestrial broadcasts.

While I don’t doubt there are some people who currently aren’t in a position to do this, surely many would still be able to at least save a little money here and there until they’ve got enough for that $50 or so (although from memory, mine was only about $40 in 2016) set top box capable of receiving MPEG4 channels if they really wanted to?

Is it new South Park or just repeats?

I haven’t seen any mention of new episodes on 10 Shake. Surely they would promo the hell out of it if they did.

I don’t believe it’s worth throwing more money at an obsolete TV. I’ll just keep it the way it is until it dies then upgrade. Unless I’m really desperate to watch HD channels on my third TV set in the house but I’m not…

There is an article on TV Blackbox’s site saying SBS says bye to South Park after 23yrs.

Even if they do show new south Park. The show has already been on a long time, so I wonder how long they will be showing new episodes for?
